Welcome to the 2012 NFL season, highlighted by Wednesday night’s kickoff extravaganza between the Cowboys and Giants. And it’s important that both teams get off to good start tonight.
The team that eventually wins the coveted Lombardi Trophy is 37-8-1 in its first game of the season. But that has changed a bit in recent seasons.
