Free agency is basically over, and the 2014 NFL draft is history.

Now what?

Well, why not take a look at all 32 teams and if each is headed in the right direction? We will take stock of every club and determine if it has improved, stayed the course or taken a step backward when it comes to making strides for the upcoming season.

Remember, we are not power ranking teams or giving them grades strictly based on the draft.

We are simply evaluating how they are doing so far as they prepare for the NFL's 95th season by considering factors such as arrivals and departures, coaching changes and if they have done enough to make a significant jump.

Of course, there’s still a lot of work to be done in terms of signing undrafted college players, plugging a hole or two with a veteran free agent and evaluating whether any team’s rookies are ready to contribute immediately.

So if you’re looking for playoff predictions or for reasons a team will wind up drafting high in 2015, you’ve come to the wrong place.

We will get to that in due time.
