New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will tell you that he has not had a lot of success against the Denver Broncos during his career.

Despite some impressive statistics, he owns a 4-6 overall record as a starter vs. the Men from Mile High. That includes a stinging playoff loss in 2005 which ended the Patriots’ chances of a third straight Super Bowl victory.

But 10 years ago, Brady and head coach Bill Belichick headed to Denver on a Monday night looking to extend the team’s 6-2 record over a Broncos’ team that would reach the playoffs that year as well. It turned out to be one of the most stirring games of the 2003 season.
