My latest piece on FootballPros.comOnce again, I’ll be attending the Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremonies in Canton, Ohio, starting with the Enshrinees’ Dinner Friday night. It’s an event highlighted by the moment in which the latest inductees receive their gold jackets. But it’s Saturday evening that this weekend is all about. The first year I came to Canton was 1989, a class that included Steelers’ quarterback Terry Bradshaw and cornerback Mel Blount, Packers’ safety Willie Wood and Raiders’ tackle Art Shell. Back then, the ceremony was held on the steps of the Hall itself, instead of its current home at the stadium. Bradshaw’s induction speech is one of the most memorable most have ever seen or heard, highlighted by his famous “What I wouldn’t give to put my hands under Mike Webster’s butt just one more time.” (something Bradshaw was able to do when Webster was inducted a few years later)...http://footballpros.com/content.php/1059-Memories-of-Canton#new_comment
