In today’s National Football League, what’s down is up and what’s up is down very quickly. One team that found that out very quickly last season was the Minnesota Vikings, a 12-4 club and NFC North champion in 2009 that fell short in overtime in the NFC Championship Game, then plummeted to 6-10 and dead last in the division in 2010.
It’s safe to say that it was an erratic season both on and off the field(s) in the Twin Cities as injuries and controversy surrounding their veteran quarterback were one of many factors in the disappointing season.
