Some thoughts and some numbers regarding Week 11 of the 2013 season and entering Monday night's game…

--In 2008, the Atlanta Falcons hired Thomas Dimitroff to be their general manager. The former New England Patriots executive hired Mike Smith as head coach and drafted quarterback Matt Ryan. Prior to '08, the franchise had never enjoyed back-back winning seasons or playoff appearances. Entering 2013, the Falcons were a combined 56-24 the previous five seasons (only the Patriots were better over that span), posting a winning campaign each year while reaching the playoffs four times. But it's all come apart in 2013 as Atlanta fell to 2-8 with a loss to theTampa Bay Buccaneers, wrapping up the first non-winning season under the Dimitroff/Smith/Ryan regime…
