Some thoughts and some numbers regarding Week 5 of the 2013 NFL season and entering Monday night's game…

--The more things change the more they stay the same. You've heard that before and it certainly applies to the Detroit Lions, who once again fell short to the Packers at Green Bay on Sunday. Including the postseason, the Men from Motown have now lost 20 straight at Lambeau Field dating back to the teams' meeting in the 1994 NFC wild card game, but have dropped 23 straight road games in the series (including 3 at Milwaukee from 1992-94). Of course, 1991 not only marks the last time the Lions beat the Pack on the road, it is also the last season in which Detroit won a playoff game…
