Check out my latest piece for NationalFootballAuthority.comThanks to the lockout, NFL free agency will have a look unlike any other offseason. With limited time to re-sign your own players before they hit the open market, teams will have to make decisions rather quickly (if they have not already,) in terms of not only retaining their personnel but making salary-cap related cuts.In any case, we are about to see an offseason that has not been witnessed since the league went into true free agency in 1993.  Here is a handful of the top unrestricted free agents available who, if available, figure to be the first to go off the board when free agency actually begins. This does not include players cut by their teams this offseason (aka “street” free agents).
